  • Hiking, Cycling & Jogging - Sight of the 2009 Stage 2 start of the Tour of Missouri, Ste. Genevieve has the variety of terrain for any level cyclist to challenge. Its rolling hills and quiet countryside provide an ideal environment to tour Ste. Genevieve County, the Wine Country and Historic Ste. Genevieve. The Audubon Trail in the nearby Mark Twain National Forest is sure to satisfy the needs of the most energetic hikers.

  • Historic Touring - You just can't get any better that Ste. Genevieve's Historic District and the surrounding French Colonial sites. Whether in the downtown Historic District, Fort du Chartres, Kaskaskia SHS or any of the numerous historical venues around Ste. Genevieve, you'll enjoy the 'hands-on' approach to history.   • Fall Colors - The autumn season is one of the most magnificent times in the Ozarks. The wide variety of deciduous and coniferous trees in the Ste. Genevieve area explode into a vast rainbow of colors. Every turn of the road will excite and awe the viewer with beautiful scenes of quiet, pastoral venues.

  • Covered Bridges - The area around Ste. Genevieve features many ancient covered bridges just waiting for you to discover. Bring a picnic lunch and sit alongside the creek or just take a stroll across one of the bridges on either side of the Mississippi River. Don't forget your camera!

  • Antiques & Collectibles Tour - An old village like Ste. Genevieve can't help but be a magnet for antiques and collectables. Be sure to check out St. Mary's Antique Mall, just eight miles south on Hwy 61. Also, look for the (US Highway) Sixty-One Mile Garage Sale on the Events Calendar. It's a great time for shoppers to pick up that something special!
